The Super Hero Bate Family {Utah Family Photographer}

I am so grateful to be able to photograph this family year after year.
Last year as we were discussing their family shoot she told me about how in love her boys were with popcorn.  So I had suggested we do a shoot using popcorn.
Remember this shoot?

So as we were discussing this years shoot she made mention about how she loved the fact that she has last years shoot as a memory as to where they were as a family and what the kids were really into.
So I asked her about what the boys were all about this year.  Without a doubt she said "super heros!"
So together we came up with some ideas.
I thought it would be a fun activity to do a normal shoot and then transition into super heros by reading a book and then being the super heros.
She mentioned it to her hubby who wasn't too thrilled but he agreed.

I was super excited about this shoot because I've never seen a family shoot like it.  The kids had a ball turning into super heros and the parents had fun playing out their role too.

In the end I am super excited with how they turned out and so are the Super Bate Family!

I always think it's important to capture who you are at this point in your life and more importantly to create a memory.
