I love sparkly eyes...I used to WAY over process eyes...and I've learned to tone that down.  A big tip is don't dodge the whites of the eyes.  I now only dodge the catchlights in eyes.  So make sure when sparkling up the eyes....to gently dodge only the catch lights!
