Oh...oh...vacation!

So most people take vacations in the summer.  NOT ME..we  take Winter vacations.

As a photographer my slow season is the winter.

And this year my winter starts in November.  I did this on purpose.

Last year I was SWAMPED in OCTOBER, NOVEMBER and DECEMBER, and this year I refused to be that way.  So November 1st I am going to be finished with all Christmas and fall shoots.  It might seem early to some, but I didn't even get to enjoy the holidays this last year because I was so busy.  

So to make me stick to this plan I booked a vacation! Yes I did! I'm so excited.  We are going to do Disneyworld.  We've done it many times in the past but never when it will decorated for the Holidays.  I'm way excited.  

So if you need to get on my schedule for fall I am booking now and you'll want to get in before my Vacation so I can get everything edited before Christmas Cards go out (oh I hate that I said the Christmas word this early)

I don't know why I have wanted to enter into these I Heart Faces contests lately, but I have.

Anyway this weeks contest is "BRIGHT AND VIVID".

{Make a Wish} A Sneak Peek at Abbie

Abbie is one of my favorite clients to photograph.  

She is seriously one of the spunkiest little girls I've ever met.

Abbie is hilarious!

She made it known to me that she loves Justin Bieber, and then she clearly stated to me 

"Stay. Away. From. My. Man!" WOW! Okay...got it!

She would just say the funniest things ever it was such a joyful morning photographing her.

I never do contests, but I decided to enter this photo in the I heart faces from a distance contest.

I love it.

I call it Vintage Summer....mainly because I can't wait for summer to get here.

{Make a Wish} Vintage makes me happy

Right now I am so completely in love with vintage....I adore the color pallet of vintage, I love everything about it.

It just makes me happy.  Like giddy happy.

So enjoy this little photo of a color pallet I am currently in love with.  If I had a model dressed in these colors with a bird cage veil I would be in love!

Oh and I found these shoes and had to buy them.

{Make a Wish} Sweet Elle

My princess is such a sweetheart, and I'm not just saying that because she is mine.  But because she really is.

My Elle says things that just makes this momma's heart melt.  Like the other day as I was putting her to bed she said "Mom, you're the best mom I've ever had." Well honey I'm the only momma you've ever had...but sweet anyway!

Elle always amazes me with her sweet genuine heart.
